Hi APC
I want to buy APC UPS for my computer and i run both windows and ubuntu dual boot. I want to know is PowerChute is available for Ubuntu OS?
If no they what is the way to autoshutdown in Ubuntu OS.
Actually i m a graphics designer and when rendering larger project, Computer renders full night for months in Ubuntu. In that case if power outage occurs then there is risk of loosing data. So i want a way to hibernate or shutdown system, when APC battery gets low. I know it is possible with PowerChute in Windows 10. I want to do it in Ubuntu.

Hi,
there is an open source package for monitoring UPS's called NUT. Info here:
Should be findable in the ubuntu package repo. Not point and click like powerchute though.
You'll need to read the docs, but google should find some help
Also there is an APC specific package https://help.ubuntu.com/community/apcupsd
Hope this helps.
