My small company has an 8-10 yr-old "Smart-UPS 1400VA RM 2U" UPS. Still works (with recent batteries installed).
Just recently replaced our old NT4-Server with a Win2003-Server, and would like to use a more recent version of PowerChute Plus.
Currently using PowerChute Plus v5.2.1.
What PowerChute/version will work for Win2003 Std-Ed R2 ?
Thanks

that's fine if you want to use powerchute plus but we cannot offer as much support with it since it is several years old. There are also none of the features like email notification/authentication. it also does not support USB Smart UPS. it does work though so it depends what each environment requires.

Our needs are pretty simply, so PowerChute Plus v5.2.3 or PowerChute Business Edition v9.0.1, whichever works easiest.
Are you suggesting either version works well, such that it's just up to our preference?
If so, is it OK to install one; see if I like. Then install the other to see if we like it better.?
(That would be interesting)
Thanks!
