I've used PowerChute on all my computers for many years. I just had to reinstall following a hard drive failure. Since reinstall, every time I restart my Win7 computer, I get a Windows User Account Control query, do I want to let Powerchute change my computer. I've occasionally received this message before, for PowerChute as well as other programs, but I've never had it happen every time I reboot. Does anyone know why this behavior has started and/or how I can eliminate it? I looked for some way to tell Windows to quit asking me, but couldn't find anything. I have the User Account Control set on Default. Thought maybe someone here had seen the same behavior. Thanks

We have a knowledge base article on this which I'll provide below. PowerChute 3.0.2 will solve the issue.

Thanks Angela, that seems to have done it. So far I'm one for one anyway. I vaguely recollect updating to 3.0.2 years ago, but while I was reinstalling all my programs after the hard drive crapped out,I forgot about that and just loaded 3.0 off the CD that came with the UPS. Thanks for your prompt, and correct, reply.
