PowerChute PE 3 includes all mapped network drives in "Free disk space"
In PowerChute Personal Edition 3 (I've checked 3.0.0.1 and 3.0.2 on two XP systems) the "Free disk space" figure shown under Technical Data includes the free space from mapped network drives, instead of indicating the actual amount of free space on local drives only.
In my view PowerChute should show free space on local drives only. First, one may not have write access to mapped drive resources so it may not actually be free usable space. Also, PCPE adds the 'free space' for all mapped drives even when they are pointing at the same drive and partition, causing the number to be grossly incorrect. For example, my system has two mapped drives to two separate folders on the same drive and partition of a networked system, but PCPE 3 adds the 'free space' twice, once for each mapped drive.
