PowerChute Business Edition 9.5 E-mail configuration

Did I correctly configure the email notification of gmail for some events according to the instructions given at this address https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=en&visit_id=1-636543205342002084-2119525300&rd=1
• SMTP Server (Hostname, IPv4, or IPv6): smtp.gmail.com
• From E-Mail Address: my first Gmail address
• Port: 465
• Use SSL/TLS: SSL
To E-Mail Address: my second Gmail address
Enabled Authentication
• Server Username (optional): my first Gmail address
• Server Password (optional): my first Gmail password

Are there any errors in my PowerChute Business Edition 9.5 email configuration settings?

OS Windows Pro 10 64bit, PowerChute Business Edition version 9.5, Smart-UPS SMT2200 connected via USB.

Hi,

PowerChute Business Edition writes any errors to C:\Program Files (x86)\APC\PowerChute Business Edition\agent\log\pcbe.log

When configuring e-mail with Gmail the setting should be smtp.gmail.com, port 465, SSL enabled and you must turned on access for lest secure apps in the Gmail account. see this link for assistance with Gmail settings for less secure apps.

Do I need to enable access for untrusted applications for both email addresses of Gmail? I only have access to the first account of Gmail (From E-Mail Address).

For the second recipient address, access is disabled (To E-Mail Address).

Do I need to update the virtual machine Java to the latest version?

Alerts do not reach my recipient address!

The problem is solved! Allowed access for untrusted applications for second recipient email account Gmail and alerts started to reach successfully!
