PowerChute Basic and COM2
Hi there,
I have a server with two COM ports. COM1 is plugged into one ups and is recognized by PowerChute.
When I go to plug COM2 (on the same server) into an additional ups it never can discover the UPS (even though PowerChute Basic is capable of managing upto 5 ups units.
Both COM ports are listed in device mangler.
Communication settings on both ports are consistent.
Using the same model cable on both ports.
Just to see, I tried the same thing on another server and got the same result.
I know when you install PC - it scans the ports for a UPS.
Could it possibly be a faulty cable or is there something I may be missing?
