Hi,
This PDU is sitting at a different site so I'm unable to physically inspect it so I was hoping someone could explain what this message from our Switched Rack PDU means please?
Thanks, Damian.

Hi Damian,
This usually is not good. Rack PDUs have little DC power supplies in them that power the management interface and energize the outlet relays if a switched rack PDU. Since you have two power supplies (1 & 2), it makes sense this is a switched rack PDU as you noted. If these have both failed, and the PDU loses input power, the outlets may not energize and turn on after you try to power the PDU back on after an interruption to input power.
This is an urgent alarm and typically requires replacement of the PDU so I'd check into this further on site at the PDU ASAP.
The firmware interface you've screenshotted is quite old so I imagine the PDU is older and has been operating for some time so after so many years of operation, a fault like this wouldn't be too shocking. I'd recommend checking the model/serial number and the first six characters of the serial number (something like ZA0434) would tell you the age of the PDU. My example means the PDU was manufactured in the 34th week of 2004 so it'd be 12 years old. I imagine your PDU is several years old and it may be time to obtain a replacement, assuming it is not under any warranty.
