We have a couple of ACRC103 Inrows and we are periodically getting Warmstarts and Cold Starts.
07.04.2016 | 09:02:47 | InRow RC: Controller Reset - Cold Start because of a unknown reason. |
07.04.2016 | 09:02:47 | InRow RC: Internal communication established. |
07.04.2016 | 09:02:36 | System: Network service started. System IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx from manually configured settings. |
07.04.2016 | 09:02:36 | System: Warmstart. |
07.04.2016 | 08:02:18 | InRow RC: Controller Reset - Cold Start because of a unknown reason. |
07.04.2016 | 08:02:18 | InRow RC: Internal communication established. |
07.04.2016 | 08:02:08 | System: Network service started. System IP is xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx from manually configured settings. |

Anyone know what is causing this?

Hello Craig. I have copied in a link to our Knowledge base that goes in-depth on the warmstarts and what causes them. It basically comes down to the network card lost communication with the network, so it will reboot itself to try and regain connection. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Cause
A System Coldstart event indicates that the NMC (Network Management Card) has just been powered and has completed startup.
It is recommended to follow the instructions in article FA156131 and download all available event logs for your product. This includes event.txt, data.txt, and config.ini for NMC1 and NMC2 as well as debug.txt and dump.txt for NMC2 only.
