Plugs that won't play nice

I'm sure I'm not the only one around here who has equipment where the plugs are different sizes and don't play well with the placement of the outlets for a UPS. What's a good solution to that since it's discouraged to use surge protector/extension cords onto the outlet of a UPS?

I have a 1500S for a PC and whatever peripherals I have. Right now I'm only able to use 4 of the battery back-up outlets and 1 of the normal outlets in the back. Not all the cables are nice and ... petite (?) like the 3-prong from the PC's power supply.

I really don't want to be like "okay, I guess I'll only be using 4 outlets out of 10 for the rest of time. that's just my life now" lol.

You could go to the local hardware store and buy the parts to make short extension cords, or if you enter the term "short extension cord" as a web search term, you will find many available to purchase.

NOTE:  Using an extension cord with a UPS is usually not recommended as available amperage degrades based on length, but using a short cord will have little to no effect.
