PDU Update gone sideways

I will try and summarize. 

AP8841 PDU.   Showing errors this morning.  

"Rack PDU 2: Component communicat​ions lost with Phase Meter. "

"Rack PDU 2: Communicat​ions lost"

Google/Research/Reading.  Not much to find.  Possible suggestions were to patch the firmware.

Device firmware all pretty old.  

Hard to find firmware updates. Very confusing.    Thought I found firmware to update the NMC in the PDU.

Updated,   and now I believe I have put UPS firmware on the PDU.  
Application module is now "SUMX".    I can browse to the NMC fine, but page not returning any information regarding the device.   "UPS not found"  ....  

A:  Can I get the right firmware,  and get it back on the PDU ????

B:  Can this be resolved without affecting power/interruption ?

Any advice appreciated.
