Hi
The AP7951 Switched PDU lists that it uses 1 x power IEC 309 as Input Connector. This is a 16A large connector, normally connected from a "normal" outlet in the house (round and large). Both on the APC website and elsewhere, they mention the same connector (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEC_60309).
Now, I want an UPS (APC RT-series 10.000VA) and this will not work (the outputs from the ups is 4x16A, called IEC 320 C19. I had a meeting with APC locally, and they said that I can choose. But what does that mean? Is it another product number (than AP7951), can I purchase another cable or what? The cord seems to be mounted permanently to the IEC 309 connector.
The reason I ask is because I can purchase this AP7951 from someone else (used), but if I can't get rid of the IEC 309...
I now see that there is an extender cable here, is that an option? Does't prefer it, but it migth work...?
