PDPM and BYPASS PANEL

Dear All,

According to the RFP, We have proposed a DC Solution to one of our customers.

At first, for their defined load, we proposed them, SY64K96H, with modular power distribution unit PDPM277H, and bypass panel external service bypass panel SYMBP160H.

Now, customer required few changes in the proposed solution. Pls see the following,

1. They required moudular rack distribution panel, i.e. PDPM138H-5U instead of PDPM277H. So, my question is, the IT power distribution modules(circuit breakers, 3phase and single phase) which was chosen with PDPM277H while designing, would be the same??? Means I need to confirm that we are going to quote PDPM138H-5U instead PDPM277H, so the circuit breakers would remain same? We have total 16 circuit breakers so if they would be the same then we would quote them just 3 units of PDPM138H-5U. Pls confirm.

2. Customer now required Wall mount external service bypass panel instead of floor standing. So, we are going to quote them SYWMBP96K160H instead of SYMPB160H. Pls let me know is there any major difference (technically) which i need to look after or they are just same.

3. As per their recent request they need SY32K96H (with one additional power module). Pls let me know the efficiency of the unit at 30,50 and 80% load.

Your prompt response would be much appreciated.

Regards,

War

After the new year, we can perhaps have someone reach out to you on this rather than me being the middle man going back and forth.

Do you have a sales contact that you work with? The person helping me was inquiring.

Yes I do have a sales contact but that is not concerning with it. Basically, I use this forum because I have a very good experience with it. So many questions i have asked directly to apc or my sales team but haven't get any satisfying answer OR when I get answers from them I always recheck or get a comparison by asking the same question on this forum.

This particular question is 'JUST' a question for my internal satisfaction. If any one gives the answer, so the answer receipt will surely NOT use for any NASA PROJECT and if I dont get the answer then this will not matter too.

I feel u r getting irritated from my asking, If so, then pls dont get irritated bcz i always simply just ask a question, If i get the answer, it makes me satisfied and happy and if not then it is also cool.

Hope I clarified enough.

Be happy, tc.

Hi War - I am not getting frustrated with you - just the people I have to go through to ask seem to prefer to deal offline sometimes on very specific configuration concerns. We also don't have a dedicated contact here on the configuration team since we are mainly here for technical or product support - not so much the sales. I can try to get them to respond here but it might be a delay as you experienced. It also makes it go slower because since I am in North America, I have to track down the right person overseas, time differences, etc. It also seemed like this was specific to one particular configuration issue so the person helping me said he could just reach out to you instead if you wanted and also work with the sales person helping with the solution.

So, no I am not frustrated smile but I don't think we'll be able to further reply here or offline until Jan 2ish.

Happy Holidays!
