Links are down on APC's website *cough* as usual *cough* and i can't access the specifications for the AP8888 rack PDU. Anyone know what the allowable interrupting capacity of the AP8888 metered rack PDU is? 10KAIC? 22KAIC?

As I know we are already discussing this offline at the same time, I'd like to end the forum discussion and just continue with the other conversion we have going since I was just duplicating what you asked our product manager.

We currently do not have a kAIC rating for our Rack PDUs. We do know that the rating is less than 10 kAIC.

seeing as how the AP8888 is a 240-415Vac, 3ph RPDU, and the distribution scheme eliminates the need for an output isolation transformer on a PX500 configured for 415Vac output, what would happen to the PDU if exposed to a short circuit of 18kA? Would it blow up?
