PCNS and VMWARE startup delay

Hi

I have recently installed PCNS 4 on a physical server that is controling my 3 host with vmware.
I have a VM machine that run Vcenter.

Shutdown and startup works perfectly.
At startup the vcenter starts first and then the rest of my VM machines.

But i can not get the startup delay of my VM machines to work.
All the VM machines on the same host starts at the same time then PCNS start them up.
I have configured the automatic startup and also configured a startup delay on the hosts for the VM machines.

What have i missed ?

Any suggestions ?

Hi,

Synchronized shut down and start up of VMs is not possible with PCNS 4.0. We are currently working on PCNS 4.1 and when it is release you will be able to synchronize shut down and start up of VMs.

If you need synchronized shut down and start up with PCNS 4.0 you should create vApps. PCNS will stop and start vApp in a specific order. PCNS 4.0 VMware users guide discusses this starting on page 36.

Then i have to wait for PCNS 4.1.
We don't have the DRS license that vAPP requires.

I hope you release it soon.
