Hi all,
SMX1500RM2UNC (AP9631 w/ v5.1.3 firmware)
PCNS 2.2.4 (win7 64bit)
edit: UAC is turned off
I am trying to get PCNS to execute commands but they never execute nor is anything logged. I have looked through the following URL which support provided:
http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2441/kw/command%20file
In the 'configure events' section I am using the 'ups: on battery' event. A Green tick for 'run command file' is shown for this on battery event. To test I have the event firing after 60 seconds on battery, but nothing ever happens. I am ultimately wanting a command to execute before graceful shutdown.
Using @START "" C:\fullpathtocommand\command.bat
I noticed that the PCNS service by default runs as "local system' with access to desktop. I have tested from the desktop and also a folder path off of C:\ and ensured that SYSTEM has permissions. The command executes fine via command line or double clicking.
I have a case (C1-2368376115) with support about this but they guy seemed to have very little experience with PCNS and the NMC, so I'm hoping somebody here can steer me in the right direction. I can be contacted via email in the case if need be.
Thanks in advance!
