Hello together,
it seems that I am having a big peace of wood in front of my head.
I am not able to install Powerchute on some physical 2012r2.
I installed Java, but didn`t help, run pcbesetup.exe as Administrator.
Nothing worked.
Is there anybody who can push me in the right direction?
Cheers
Marc

Hi,
What version of PCBE are you installing? Also, at what point does the installation fail? Do the installation files uncompress to the system temp folder? When pcbesetup.exe is run the installation files are extracted to the default system temp folder. If the files uncompress you will find a folder with a name similar to WZSE0.TMP In there you will find a bin folder and in the bin folder there are four folder agent, agent-upslink, console, server. Depending on the model of Smart-UPS you have will determine which version of the agent that needs to be installed.

Hi,
that worked after installing Java.
BTW. 9.2 should work too, but does no matter for us at the moment.
Cheers

Hi,
trying to use the newest 9.20 on 2012r2 Server.
It does no matter if Java is installed or not, other than 9.1.1 on some of my servers in the past.
They always needed JAVA first before installing.
Here now Windows "say" this app can`t run on your pc right after doubleklicking or using "run as Admin".
No extraction or anything.
Cheers
Marc
