Output Frequency Range Setting

Hello,

Yesterday afternoon the power coming into our Building lost a Phase of the Three Phase Input. The SMART-UPS (Model# SRT5KRMXLT) seemed to go into Battery Backup from the Log Entry below.

11/26/2024 15:56:25 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage. 0x020F
11/26/2024 15:56:24 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode. 0x0210
11/26/2024 15:56:17 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage. 0x020F
11/26/2024 15:56:16 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode. 0x0210
11/26/2024 15:56:10 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage. 0x020F
11/26/2024 15:55:41 Device UPS: An input voltage or frequency problem no longer prevents switching to bypass mode. 0x0210
11/26/2024 15:55:41 Device UPS: Bypass not in range ; either frequency or voltage. 0x020F

Unfortunately the Server / Network equipment (Single Server, Switch and Router) did not keep running for some reason even though we had 34 Minutes Runtime from the UPS Status. My questions is since the Input Frequency was no longer 50/60 Hz, I am assuming the Output Frequency Range then was not 50/60Hz. The Power Configuration setting for the "Output Frequency Range" is set to Auto_50/60Hz. From the manual, the output frequency adjusts to match the input frequency when Auto_50/60 is selected. Would this setting have prevented the equipment from running off the Battery? If so should the "Output Frequency Range be set to "60 +/- .01 or 60 +/- 3.0" to ensure the Output Frequency Range is a constant 60Hz? I have attached a screenshot of the current Power Setting and the Event Log.

The system should be locked to 60 Hz and defined 60 +/- 0.1 Hz. This should stop the unit from hunting.

As an aside the NMC needs to be updated to the latest firmware. You also need to update the SMTP email settings for those failed aliases.

If you ignore doing so at the current firmware level it can / will cause the NMC to lock up and stop access and reporting alerts and connectivity to any connected NMS. ☝️
