Hello,
We have three PowerEdge rack servers connected to one UPS (SMT3000RMI2U) which is presumably enough load but the UPS status is showing ''Output Efficiency: load too low''. The servers are running OK. No alert from the UPS as well.
Do you see any problem in the status screenshot please? Do I have to replace the battery or send the UPS for servicing?
Thanks for your help!

It's not a problem -- it just means efficiency is not reported at low loads. If we look at the efficiency graph for the SMX3000 we can guess it's around 80-90% efficient but the slope here is really steep so our guess is probably not very accurate.
There's two ways you can look at it:
- Since there's not much load, most of the power is being used by the UPS which is inefficient. You could get greater efficiency by putting more load on the UPS or using a smaller UPS.
- Just putting more load on the UPS won't save any energy even if it's more efficient, so why worry about it. The way to save energy would be to use fewer UPSes or use smaller ones.
