Hi,
From the FAQ on the "Available runtime exceeded..." event it seems the event is based on the "Low battery duration" setting. That is weird because based on the PCNS manual if the UPS has outlet groups the "Low battery duration" configuration is completely ignored, so why would there be an event on such a UPS based on that redundant setting? Unless there is a use for that setting even in an outlet group configuration, if then what is it?

PCNS does not ignore the low battery duration setting on any Smart-UPS. When the UPS reaches the low battery threshold the NMC reports the event to all registered PCNS clients. When the PCNS client see that the UPS is at low battery it will immediately begin the shutdown process. By default, PCNS will trigger a shutdown sequence if a low battery condition occurs or the UPS is commanded to turn off. The shutdown cannot be disabled for these events using the PCNS UGI.
The Low Battery Duration set on the NMC should be equal to or greater than the Power Off Delay for the assigned outlet group. By default, the outlet group Power Off Delay will be the same value as the Low Battery duration configured on the NMC. PowerChute will automatically increase the Power Off Delay for the outlet group it is registered with, if the total shutdown time it needs is greater than the Power Off Delay.

I guess I mistook "The maximum delay" for low battery threshold.
Thanks for pointing this out.
