Notifcation setup on a InRow RC

I'm trying to setup email notifcation on our Inrow RC and there is a DNS setting. I add our DNS server IP but when I send a test email, I get an error saying the DNS time out. The agent firmware is 3.3.6/3.3.6, I'm I missing a place where I need to configure where to DNS?

There is a test mechanism in the web interface for your DNS setting. Even if the test is successful, you may just want to put your SMTP server's IP address in the Network Management Card rather than it's FQDN. This will take DNS out of the equation and simplify things, likely fixing the issue.
