Notbotz 550 rack monitor

I can log into my 550...I have tried using the apc serial configuration utility tool and after several tries of scanning  for the port I get in to the area of putting in the password, after

that the box just freezes at reading current configuration. I need help

Hi Alaye.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by stopped working? Is the unit not responding anymore? What firmware version do you have installed on the appliance? Make sure you are on the newest version 4.2 and on Advanced view 4.2.(you need to be on the same Botzware and Advanced view version). If you are already on version 4.2, I would recommend re-flashing the firmware on the appliance. If you are on an older version, the newest one available is on the below link:

Hi Alaye,

Are you trying to configure your Netbotz 550 for the first time and its not working? If the serial configuration utility is not working for you (this maybe because you don't have the correct drivers installed as detailed in KBase FA158350). You can use hyper-terminal to configure your Netbotz appliance also. The settings are 38400-8-N-1-N. The KBase for this is FA158305. The link for the support page is below:

        Thanks for you reply but the box has been already been configured and was in use it just stop working and I could log into the box using advance viewer
