Hello,
I have deployed the PCNS OVF to a VMWare ESXi 5.5 host. During the setup wizard, it had no complaints but now complains that it cannot talk to the ESXi host. When I try to change the password, it wants the current password, but nothing I type in there is working. I must have mistyped the original password during the wizard.
Is there anything I can do other than blowing away the VM and re-deploy?

Hi Mike,
If you run through the setup again. Click on "PowerChute Setup" in the PCNS web UI, it allows you to enter in the password you use to connect to the vCenter server again, without having to put in the current password you used previously.
Regards,
B

Hi Bill,
Thanks for that, but it's not what I'm looking for. That KB article is about resetting the password to PCNS. I'm looking for a way to reset the password stored within PCNS that is wrong for a ESXi host it's supposed to connect to.
