AP9630 NMC network issues

I have my NMC set up from the console session using Putty, it has the proper IP, subnet mask, and gateway for our network. I also have it on the same subnet as my computer. I have gone through the settings and multiple resets/formats but I can't get any connectivity. I can't ping to the NMC or ping anything from the NMC. The Stat says: P+ N4+ N6+ A+

You're welcome!

Well, if it works like that, there may be some configuration some place preventing network access via your actual network. I was going to say you could also give Telnet (or SSH access if you turn it on) a try beyond web access which you know doesn't work, juuuust in case ICMP is blocked on the network (and not on your computer). Then, we'd know that the device is accessible but maybe something is blocking web access (proxy server config, etc).

Could you share the output of the tcpip command? I was interested to note too if the MAC address is showing properly on the card. I'd also be interested in confirming what you see for the card's status LED (next to the checkmark and X) and the network link LED - color of LED and if it is solid or flashing. Also consider maybe trying a network cable just for the heck of it.

Assuming it is, you could try a direct connection to your Network Management Card from a laptop or something to help rule out a possible network configuration issue. This knowledge base article (http://www.apc.com/support/index?page=content&country=ITB〈=en&locale=en_US&id=FA156366) has a walk through on doing that if you needed it.

I pulled the NMC out and confirmed the MAC is the same on the sticker as it is in the console. Status light is solid green and left light is blinking amber.

I set it up as a crossover network per the article you linked and it seemed to work. I was able to ping the NMC from my computer and even log into the web console from IE. I was not able to ping the computer from the CLI console, however.

Thanks for the quick reply.
