New SMC1500IC UPS Purchase

Hi 

 I have purchased a SMC1500IC UPS , I tried configuring it with a standard RJ45->RS232 cable and the APC UPS1500IC shut down during the Business Software Configuration process.  Is there a special type of cable required as the server does not have USB connector?  . Is there any on Amazon I can get ?  .

I am using the Rj45 / Serial connector on the UPS and the DB9/RS232 connector on the Dell Server

On Amazon search on APC 940-625 for a 6 foot (1.8 M) cable or APC 940-1525 for a 15 foot (4.5 M) cable.
