I VPN to Remote Desktop and try and access my management cards and can't. Is there something in the management card the prohibits SSL http from remote desktop?

There should be nothing preventing you from accessing the card. Are you able to ping the card when VPN'd?

Yes can ping it and find it using the ip configuration utility.
