Need serial access and PC only has USB ports

I have an APC 9211 with the 9606 card in it. Been shelved from some time, and plugging it in today to config for a new use, we learned it doesn't want to respond to its old IP address. Our PCs don't have serial ports, but we do have the old software and the 940-0024 serial cable.

Can someone recommend a USB-to-serial adapter that works with the APC software. Our systems are running Vista, XP Pro and Apple OS X Tiger.

You may also want to consider a serial board that would install into a PCI or ISA slot in your XP boxes. These can be found fairly cheaply at computer & electronics stores. You would need to verify compatibility for your Vista and Tiger OS's.
