Hello,

I have a NMC 2 AP9630 connected to a SMX750i. When the UPS switches to battery power the NMC loses connection to the UPS with a "Lost the local network management interface-to-UPS communication". Once switched from battery power to mains it takes a couple minutes for the NMC to restore communication to the UPS.

The card revision 640-1110A-Z_REV05 and according to https://forums.apc.com/spaces/7/ups-management-devices-powerchute-software/forums/general/11653/poss... this revision is no good and prone to noise on the communication line.

APC support just tells me the NMC card is too old, incompatible or faulty. Does APC take any responsibility for the faulty design that do not work with newer UPSs?
