Hello. The cooling units can not be tipped to move them. For the DX units this will cause the oil to the compressor and can cause issues on startup, if there is no oil in the compressor. I have put a link to our Knowledge Base below that discusses the tipping of the InRow units.
Thank you

Hello. I have attached the KB below. These units are very top heavy (due to the condenser in the top of the unit). I would recommend having two people (one front, one back) to move the units to keep them upright. To get across the indents, you can use plywood underneath the unit to move the unit on. There are also pull slides that are used to move heavy furniture that may work. Someone would need to make sure to stabilize the unit while moving to make sure it does not fall over.
Thank you
Issue:
Can a cooling unit be tipped or laid on its side?
Product line:
All Units
Environment:
Data Center Cooling
Cause:
Resolution:
They absolutely cannot be laid on their sides for movement. The units also can not have any partsremoved to aid in laying the unit on its side. THIS WILL VOID ALL WARRANTY. Please see below forthe maximum amount of degrees that is allowed to be tipped. InRow units cannot be tipped at all dueto their high center of gravity. Caution must be taken when moving these units.
