I'm trying to get status per outlet on the APC8930 that my team uses via SNMP. The status for the overal device is showing correctly:
iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.2.3.1.1.2.1 = Gauge32: 9
(rPDU.rPDULoadStatus.rPDULoadStatusTable.rPDULoadStatusEntry.rPDULoadStatusLoad)
However, when I query per outlet: iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.3.5.1.1.7.[1-24], I see a result of Gauge32: 0 for each outlet.
(rPDU.rPDUOutlet.rPDUOutletStatus.rPDUOutletStatusTable.rPDUOutletStatusEntry.rPDUOutletStatusLoad)
My current version is:
Schneider Electric Network Management Card AOS v6.3.2
(c) Copyright 2015 All Rights Reserved RPDU 2g v6.3.3
I was hoping to get some information about why the per-outlet load status is incorrect.

Thank you Angela and Jordan for the responses!
So it looks like I should get an AP8632 instead of the AP8930.

Robert,
The AP8930 is a Switched rPDU which does not support individual outlet metering - this is why you are seeing a result of "0" for this query. If you log into the web GUI of this unit, you will notice that you cannot obtain individual outlet Amp measurements from it either.
Your first query (iso.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.2.3.1.1.2.1) returns an accurate measurement because it is returning the phase/bank load measured.
For individual outlet metering, you would require a PDU that begins with a model number of AP86xx.

To add, the proper subtree for AP8XXX series Rack PDU support is .iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.apc.products.hardware.rPDU2 or .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.26. The OIDs you're using are legacy and there is some support in the AP8XXX series for backwards compatibility but they were intended for AP7XXX Rack PDUs.
In addition to what Jordan said, AP84XX Rack PDUs also offer metering by outlet but if you want the switching and metering by outlet, go with the AP86XX series models he mentioned.
