Hello,
We have been experiencing a reoccuring rack inlet temperature sensor fault on one of our units. We had an external temperature sensor plugged into the port on the rear of the unit and we replaced that with a new one thinking that would be the issue but it still remains. Is there another rack inlet temperature sensor somewhere we are missing?
Thanks
Keith Nelson

Does the rack inlet sensor alway read below 32 or does it read higher at any time? The sensors are designed to work above freezing temperatures (32F). If they are kept in below freezing enviroments, it can cause alarms. If you can I would recommend giving your local tech support a call when you are with the unit to check a few more things while on the phone. If the sensor is in a above freezing enviroment, this would look like a bad connection or a bad board.
Thank you

Hello Keith. There is only one rack inlet temperature sensor on the ACRD200. Is the faults coming and clearing itself or do you have to manually clear the fault? What does the rack inlet sensor read for a temperature value when it is faulting?
Thank you
