Hi,
I have 2 smart-UPS 3000RM 2U with USB connector and one 3U 3000 with only serial connector. Only one is used for the server, the two other provide power to PC's installed elsewhere.
Powerchute recognises all UPS but only one, if more than one is connected to the server (Windows XP Server 2300 X64 SP2).
Is there a way to monitor at least the two with USB Ports?
thx

Gerhard,
Unfortunately, three or multiple UPSs can not be monitored via the Serial or USB(Ports) from a single Server at the same time. You can only manage 1 UPS at a time via the physical communication cable.
However, you do have an option to monitor the two other Smart UPSs or Multiple Smart UPSs with one Server at the same time. By installing the Network Management Card (NMC) into the UPS Smart Slot and configuring an IP address for the card, you make the UPS a node on your network. Then, you can monitor the UPS through the Network Management Card web interface, FTP or Telnet on the Network. So you can monitor the Smart UPS anywhere in the world through the NMC.

Note: Check the UPS specs to verify if your UPSs are compatible with the Smart Slot accessory.
I hope that this helps.
