Monitoring PDU's
We have a large number of APC PDU's which I would like to monitor over SNMP.
Can anyone suggest a free solution which I can use to collect the info?
I simply want the current draw and an alert if a bank drops so I'm sure there must be some free monitoring software where I can simply install the MIB's and get the info, any ideas?

i would start by searching for a MIB browser - two free ones that I have used are GetIF 2.2 and iReasoning MIB browser. these will allow you to browse the [APC PowerNet MIB located at this link|ftp://ftp.apc.com/apc/public/software/pnetmib/mib/395/powernet395.mib]. download this MIB and then usually you place it in a certain folder within the MIB browser installation directory and you can query the OIDs you are looking for.
