Which cooling solution is best suited to my needs?
To start this I've called many different AC companies for estimates and I get different responses on how to handle my situation. I don't have any experience in choosing proper cooling equipment for any application let alone a server room.
My situation:
I have a 10x10 room which will hold 3 racks full of servers.
The room is isolated up to the roof and has a drop ceiling about 10 feet up.
The room is currently cooled/heated by one of the current office systems. There is also a return in the room.
The rest of the office space (over 3,000 sq ft does not have a drop ceiling or plenum space. I can gain access to the rest of the office space for air flow if needed by cutting into the walls.
We were looking at the ACPA4000 to help assist in cooling the room. Is the 10x10 space above the room enough to run this AC properly? Can I vent out through the current systems return? Can I cut a hole in the wall to bring fresh air into the area above this server room?
I can upload pictures of the room if it will help.

You may want to contact your local manufacturer's representative for sizing help regarding the larger cooling units and/or custom solutions.
We do not have any "Air Sizing" experts that monitor these forums, but our manufacturer's reps are qualified and authorized to size APC Air solutions and typically lead into direct dialogue with a local APC sales/tech rep anyway.
To find a list of manufacturer's reps near you, go to www.apc.com, then select "Reseller/Partner". Then click on the "How to Buy" link at the top of the page and drop down to "Locate Manufacturer's Rep".
