Can current Symmetra UPS handle c7000 HP blade enclosure?

Hello,

We have two L6-30 receptacles available that are evenly balanced on phases…except that the 2 circuits we have available to use are going to the APC that has a bad power module. It believe it already has a pretty high load on all phases, and if once we replace the power module, that the APC can still handle the load of the blades.

Will we be ok with the load? I did some research but I am stuck with what to really look at here? I have attached the picture from the power status of our Symmetra 40k...input current in amps?

The HP c7000 model we chose is the single phase chassis with 6 power supplies connect to two 208V 30AMP PDU’s that use a single L6-30P each (208V 30AMP circuit). Let me know if anyone can help...I am pretty lost with this.

To supplement that information, another one of our three-phase reps has chimed in with a little more insight:

From the image that is attached, this unit is approaching 100% (it's at 99% , specifically) power output delivered to the load - see Output kVA and Output VA at n+0. Only phase L2 shows some available wiggle room at 81% of total capacity. It it possible to connect 1kW worth of SINGLE-phase load to L2, or roughly 10A . It is not recommended that any additional load be placed on their UPS as it will, more than likely, go to static bypass due to an overload condition. The obvious side effect of going to bypass is that the load is no longer being protected by the UPS. It is highly recommended that the non-functioning power module be replaced/repaired prior to adding additional load.

EKrengel,

From the figures I see here, it looks like you currently have 2 working power modules installed.
I would suggest you add a 3rd power module to give your system N+1 redundancy with your current loads.

Reviewing the specifications of your HP c7000, it shows a maximum load of 8KVA
I would suggest you add a 4th power module to cover the additional load from the HP c7000.
