Hi,
Here is my question:
Is it possible to use both RC and RP to save power KWs?
We consider deploying a hot aisle containment in our plan. Unfortunettaly RC 500 series do not have humidifier and RP ones consume more that 15KW performing humification.
Thanks for your help!

It seems you missed my answer in the previous thread; anyway here is a copy of the text body;
Hi,
Here is some information I have found, no thanks to APC. 1st of all, RPs' 15 kW power consumption is not fully utilized even during humidifiation. the humidifier uses about 2.3 kW at most and fans use about 1.1 kW each meaning the sum of 5.6 kW. The remaining 9 kW gap here is for the ReHeat function of the CRAC which in most cases is not used frequently. If you need to estimate total power consumption of the CRAC, you can correct the ReHeat power usage by multipying 9 by 0.1 and adding it to 5.6, givin you a total of 6.5 kW.
U can read more details on page 29 of InRow RP Technical document.
Regards
