MasterSwitch plus APP

I have recently obtained 4 MasterSwitches with 9606 Management cards installed in them.

1 of them is running perfect, but in order to get the remaining 3 so they function as advertised, I'm in need of obtaining the "MasterSwitch plus APP" that can be loaded via telnet or the serial cable onto the flash of the device.

Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction?

I've been searching for a couple days non-stop - but finding anything important on APC's site - is sometimes worse than trying to find something enjoyable to watch on "LifeTime" 🙂

Please note that I already have the following file downloaded:

apc_hw02_msp_262.bin

But when I attempt to upload it to the card, I get an "unknown file" to the 9606 cards.

Did you install the cards into the Masterswitch or were they always installed?

If you had to install them, it's not going to work. I'm pretty sure that there is no longer firmware available for that card.

Could you tell me:
1) Part number & serial number of working MasterSwitches with 9606 Management card
2) Part number & serial numbers of working MasterSwitches with 9606 Management cards

A)Have you tried to install the card from #1 into a swithch from #2? Whaty are the results?
B) If you open ftp session with the working card what files you can see?

I honestly had no idea I could FTP the working unit. Unfortunately, I couldn't grab any of the files from it, but it did list the firmware files that was being used.

A google search on those exact bin files, and I had much better results than I ever did - just shooting in the dark. And within about 30 minutes, I was able to locate a batch set of aos258b.bin and msp205a.bin - both of which were loaded on the 3 remaining PDUs...

And now everything's up and running like a champ!

I honestly couldn't have done it without you guys! - You guys all deserve a cup of coffee - on me. 🙂
