Hi Everyone,
I currently had 13 locations with UPS systems containing one management card (AP9619). When I make a change, I have to re-configure 13 cards. Is there an easier way to manage the management cards?
Thank you in advance,
D

hi,
[this article should be what you are looking for..|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=8979]
the article describes a couple of different ways to upload a configuration change - via ISX manager or the INI utility. it is called the INI utility because on any network enabled product we have that applies, you can download config.ini file with the entire configuration. you can open these files in notepad and only upload the section you want to edit, rather than the entire file.
but anyway, the k-base article goes over this. let me know if you have any other questions.

good afternoon,
the config.ini file should be on any newer firmware.
what we usually do is FTP to the card via the command prompt and it should just be in the '/' directory.
here is some output from what i just did.
C:\apc> ftp 192.168.1.100 (192.168.1.100 being the IP address of the web card)
Connected to 192.168.1.100
220- APC FTP server ready.
User (192.168.1.100 :(none)):apc
331 User name okay, need password.
Password:*********
230 User logged in, proceed.
ftp>get config.ini
200 Command okay.
150 Opening data connection for config.ini
250 Requested file action okay, completed.
327680 bytes sent in 5.99 seconds (54.70 Kbytes/sec)
ftp>bye
