Hi,
I am about to buy maintenance bypass switch for my UPSs mentioned above. I found the part number SBP16KP for the switch at the website of APC for both which it means that the part number is compatible with my UPS. The website URLs are:
At the other side within the technical document of the SBP16KP bypass switch it is mentioned that this model is not compatible with SmartUPS series of APC and its corresponding for Symetra LX Series and the corresponding part numbers for my UPS models are SBP10KRMT4U or SBP10KRMI4U:
http://www.apcmedia.com/salestools/SCON-7Q3JQ2/SCON-7Q3JQ2_R0_EN.pdf?sdirect=true
My requirements at the output of bypass switch for UPS is not PDU and i need to hard wire the output. So the SBP10KRMT4U and SBP10KRMI4U are not fit for my purpose.
Actually its a little confusing how different technical info. is provided by APC website for a single product (SBP16KP)!!! i need to buy 6 bypass switch so its important for me to make a precise choice!!
the print screen files of APC website are attached to my post.
Any recommendation of guidance is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Arin

Arin,
The chart you see in the manual is more a recommendation based on KVA capacity. The SBP16KP will work fine with your SRT and SURT units, it is just a little bit larger than necessary.
