Looking for the right smart ups to buy

Dear friends,

I just installed a tisun solar station on my roof. It warms a special liquid with the help of the sun and then this liquid is moved with tubes to a big boiler.

The movement of the liquid is made by a wilo motor http://productfinder.wilo.com/en/GR/product/00000000000179fe0001003a/fc_product_datasheet

This motor as you can see has a maximum power consumption of 63 watts.

I want to use a ups for this motor. My main problem is that in my area the main electricity can be off for several hours. After the electricity comes back, i want to be sure that the ups will be automatically on. Is that possible with all the smart ups of APC, and specifically for the APC Smart-UPS SC 420VA 230V? Do you think this will be ok for my situation?

Also is it possible that the powerchute can send me an email alert when the main electricity is down?

Thank you so much!

The UPS page on apc.com should have runtime graphs for runtime at various loads, which may help in sizing the UPS.

Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries are not intended for regular partial (or full) discharge - they are intended for things like emergency lighting and computer UPS systems. So you will probably have a shorter service life from the batteries.

I'm not sure what the notification capabilities are in PowerChute Personal. You can definitely do this with an add-in Network Management Card (AP9630/1). In either case (PowerChute or NMC) you'll need to make sure everything in the path needed to send you the email still has power - it won't help if the NMC wants to send email but your network switch or ISP modem doesn't have power.

Dear Terry, thanks for your answer.

My main purpose is the protection of the motor from overloads, so i dont mind if the batteries will last less time.

But my real concern is that the motor will start again automatically after the power is back. I think powerchute business edition has this fuction, but i want to verify its gonna work with the ups i mentioned before i buy it.

Thanks again
