Locating the model # remotely

Is there a way to locate the specific model # of a SMART-UPS remotely via SSH or the Web Console?

I have a SMART-UPS 1500 and can locate the serial # but not the specific model.

hello,

unfortunately, due to the limitations on the UPS side, some of the older models only reported things like "Smart UPS 1500" or "Smart UPS 1500 RM" - on newer models with LCD screens, the UPS models report their exact model and SKU but the network management card doesnt report it yet. We will have that available in a firmware upgrade at the end of the year.

for the meantime though, if you can tell me what you're seeing exactly and the first four characters of your UPS serial number, i can help you with the SKU.

ok, if its not rackmounted, i'd guess SUA1500 is the model number and the unit would be black in color.
