Hi All,
I'm encountering the error in the subject... I restarted the NMC and it worked for a couple of minutes:
06/03/2013 | 11:06:20 | UPS: Lost the local network management interface-to-UPS communication. |
06/03/2013 | 11:01:21 | UPS: Restored the local network management interface-to-UPS communication. |
I have no other cable connected to the NMC, just the network cable.
Here is the info from Administration - General - About tab:

The UPS model is IBM 5000VA / 24195KX - IBM 5000VA HV UPS.
Please let me know if any other info is needed.

I updated the NMC to the latest firmware:
Hardware Factory
Model Number: AP9631-IBM
Serial Number: JA1007003810
Hardware Revision: 05
Manufacture Date: 02/08/2010
MAC Address: 00 C0 B7 51 2D F8
Management Uptime: 0 Days 1 Hour 14 Minutes
Application Module

APC OS (AOS)

That error still persists, but it disconnect and connects after a couple of seconds:
