can you please follow [these instructions|http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=9321] to download your event.txt file on your network management card? we need to see the event log to determine what may be happening to cause these messages to come up. please post/attach the text file here if possible.
also, it would be helpful to know if you have anything attached to the serial port on this UPS even though you are using the network management card.
thanks!

the file i gave you (for the firmware upgrade) is an upgrade wizard where you just have to answer a couple of prompts, noted in the kbase Techie provided.
at the time you pulled the config.ini file, the network management card was not communicating with the UPS. when you login to the network management card, which we know itself is online, and click on the UPS tab, do you EVER see any data displayed there? i imagine you do because you are seeing UPS type events in the event log but I just want to double check.
i need a config.ini file pulled when the network card is talking with the UPS and displaying data if possible.

Click on the below link to find the instructions on how to upgrade the firmware of the NMC.
Secondly, the model number(AP9619) which you proivided is the NMC part number not the UPS model number. Could you please have a look at the rear of the UPS to find the exact model number of the UPS on a white bar code sticker?
I hope that this helps.

I was able to access the device but at the UPS tab no information was shown.
After the firmware upgrade the devices were responding again and the UPS tab information was shown again. Thanks for your help.

I am having the same problem.
I have downloaded the files as discussed.
Would someone be prepared to read the files, and recommend a course of action.
Thanks

hi
can you please give me the exact model of the UPS that this is installed in? it will be on the back or bottom of the UPS on a little white sticker.
also, you are two firmware revisions behind so you could certainly upgrade to take advantage of enhancements and bug fixes.
your messages appear to be the result of warmstarts. [you can read what that means here|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2572]. i'd recommend upgrading to the latest firmware revision to start (AOS 3.7.3/Smart UPS Matrix APP 3.7.2) and then checking the items on the list to rule them out. you could temporarily change your default gateway to another valid node on your network to ensure that you do not have an issue with network traffic.
it seems unprovoked so if it is not network traffic and difficulty reaching the default gateway, it may one of the firmware issues mentioned in the article above.

no problem. ultimately, APC support needs to be contacted if it is an SURTD3000XLI.

can you let me know what model UPS that this is? based on the info i can see in the files, it appears your issue may be related to SURTD3000XLI unit - please see the [issue described here|http://nam-en.apc.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/10891/] that explains what you need to do.
if it is not an SURTD3000XLI, please let me know the model of UPS so i can give you some more steps to try. thanks!!
