Good Afternoon Everyone,
We have an AP7930 and it runs around 15.8A to 16.5A.
I completly understand the consequences of running above 16A.
I cannot set the "Overload Alarm Threshold" higher than 16A. I need to bump it to 17, how can I do that?
The error i'm getting is "Overload Alarm Threshold must be less than or equal to the maximum load value, set failed."
Thanks for the help,E

you wont be able to do it since the PDU is only technically rated for 16A due to national electrical code, even though the actual breaker will trip at 20A. it is hard coded in the actual PDU firmware itself unfortunately.

Ugh...Thanks.
On another note: I don't think there is a breaker on this unit, I searched all around it and couldn't find one. It's not internal is it?

you're right. this PDU does not have its own overload protection. it relies on the upstream breaker on the outlet it is plugged into. thus, if its a 20 amp outlet, it should have a 20 amp breaker on it (whether its a UPS outlet, panel outlet, etc)
