What file format is the firmware for the KVM2132P supposed to be? My manager provided me with a .CSF file, which was supposed to be the updated firmware for our KVM, but when I tried to update via the web console, I was left with the KVM flashing all of the port lights, and in a reboot loop. I was able to stop the reboot loop, and lights by unplugging the power, but when it came back on, the firmware had not changed.
Is the CSF file correct and I missed a step in the firmware upgrade, or should the firmware be a traditional BIN file?

Are you able to try it locally? I haven't seen this specific behavior before. You can try to put the firmware on a USB drive and try to upload it locally. It will allow you to browse a USB drive you connect to the front of it.
Also, what firmware is on it right now?
And you uploaded the .csf, correct, as I know the forum zipped the image I gave you.

Yes, it is a .csf file. I have updated it via Chrome/IE with no issues. Which file did you download and what is the full name?
Usually when I upgrade it, I uncheck the box that says "Check Main Firmware Version" too (which I am not 100% sure what it does but I thought it blocked downgrades but it seems to interfere with upgrades too sometimes).
I'll attach the latest upgrade we have too that you can try. I don't think it's posted yet since it was just released.

The file I have is the following:
KVM2132P1_0_081CC_002.CSF
I will give it a show with the one you posted.

With this firmware, Chrome shows the upload status in the status bar, and once it reaches 3%, the status bar disappears. I tried a different computer, just to be sure that it wasn't something with my setup, and the result was the same.
EDIT: I thought about the WinClient.exe, and peformed the upgrade there, and in less than 5 seconds, it uploaded. Then about 15 seconds later rebooted, and the FW was up to date. I'm not sure what in our configuration could have been stopping the upgrade through a browser. Perhaps Java? Is there a documented supported version?

Yeah, I extracted it and uploaded the CSF through IE and Chrome. Both stopped at 3%. I thought about the WinClient.exe viewer. I used WinClient.exe to connect to the KVM, and was successfully able to upgrade. It's now at v1.0.086, which is the version you posted.
I was not aware I could have done it locally, I'd guess that probably would have worked as well though, seeing as how the winclient.exe worked without issue.

That is strange. I am glad you got it updated though. Do you have a proxy server you use in your browser(s)? That is the only other thing I came up with that maybe somehow caused an issue.

We don't have any proxies, I was thinking that it COULD be our AV, I didn't think to try disabling it, but I can check my logs.
