Hello,
i got following issue:
I connect my two Inputs A & B to the device -> Okey
When i disconnect Input B the ATS switches to A -> Okey
When i reconnect Input B the ATS shows that B is available again -> Okey
But:
When i disconnect Input A the Output goes Off. So Switching is normal when on Input A got a working Power Source. If this Source is available i can switch between those two sources. But if Source A is not available no switching is possible and the ATS doesn't switch to Input B.
I flashed newest firmware and from this point of view the ATS is working, but the main use case is not. So any ideas or questions?
Thanks,
Michael

Hi Angela,
yes the output LED goes off and source B input is green.
When ATS of off source B everything is fine. If i have a source A and B connected and i am choosing source B it's okey, too. But if source A goes off, the ATS powers down the output, although source B is on.
I also tested what you said. I swaped the sources but it is exactly same behaviour. So will open a RMA case with our supplier.
Greets,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Does the output LED go off on the front too when you said the actual output/load loses power?
If you power the ATS only off of source B, does everything work? It sounds like it based on what I see in the data log - the ATS at least shows it is running off of B.
But, if it won't switch, the only thing I'd be concerned about if it is seeing B as "bad" for some reason but that can be quickly ruled out if A and B are the same circuit or if you swap the sources and plug B into Source A as a test.
There very well could be an issue with a relay somewhere or something. You may want to contact your local support to open a case and pursue a replacement under warranty.
Also, I just wanted to share that we don't really recommend connecting an ATS directly to a generator or utility power and if you do, keep the settings as you have them now with lower sensitivity, wide transfer range, etc. You can also consider changing the preferred source to "none" to prevent some unneed switching.
