Issue with BATTERY_DISCONNECTED Alarm Not Triggering on AP9613 Card with APC SRT10KXLI
Dear APC Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently using an AP9613 Dry Contact I/O Smart Slot Card installed in an APC SRT10KXLI UPS system. While configuring the card using the Configuration Utility, I attempted to set up an alarm for the condition “BATTERY_DISCONNECTED” by selecting it under both the “Fault” and “Fault Legacy 1–3” categories. However, the alarm does not trigger as expected when the battery is disconnected.
I have reviewed FAQ FA171541 and noted that "BATTERY_DISCONNECTED" is indeed listed in the accompanying Excel file under the "Legacy Fault" definitions. Despite this, the condition does not seem to activate any relay output or generate a signal from the AP9613 card.
Could you please advise whether this condition is supported on the SRT10KXLI with the AP9613, and if so, are there any additional settings or firmware updates required to enable it? If this is a known issue or limitation, I would appreciate any available workarounds or documentation that could help address this.
Thank you very much for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance on resolving this issue.
