Do I have to put together the NetShelter SX when it arrives, or is it pre-assembled at the factory?

That was fast. Since they are shipped assembled, is there any way to have it arrive on my site with equipment already installed? This would save time and the mess created by a load of boxes and packaging in my data center.

Hi Kevin J. Yes. APC has a configure-to-order process through their Rack Configurator which allows you to choose additional APC products and locate them where you would like them to be within the rack. APC will then configure your rack in that fashion and ship it to you on a special "shock" pallet with all your desired equipment already installed. The shock pallet is designed to handle the additional weight of the installed equipment and protect it from damage during shipment.
