Hi,
You can test PCNS with the NMC by going to Control on the NMC and selecting one of these Reboot, Turn UPS Off, Put UPS to Sleep, Put in Bypass and then click on Signal PowerChute Network Shutdown Clients.
You will then see this screen that describes how shutdown is configured.
The shutdown settings are can be found under the UPS tab - Configure - Shutdown.
