Looking for some step by step instructions on how to swop SS over part number SYSW80kH APC for a Symmetra PX 80k
this is what i know so far off my top of me head or just check thou thanks.
1. Transfer the UPS to static bypass, and then bypass externally. Shut down the UPS and the static switch is replaced with the UPS powered off.
2. Turn the Static switch enable locking latch (with arrow pointing towards module)
counterclockwise until it points downward. This will disable the static switch module.
3. Remove the four screws which secure the static switch module in the enclosure.
4. Withdraw the static switch module by pulling on the handle and remove the static switch
from the enclosure.
5. Remove the retaining screw for the System ID card, and remove the System ID card
from the module being replaced.
6. Install the System ID card in the replacement static switch. Take care when inserting the
card that it is properly aligned with the guide rails in the static switch module, and is fully
seated and secure the retaining screw.
7. Insert the replacement static switch into the UPS enclosure and seat securely to ensure
all connectors are engaged.
8. Install the four screws which secure the module in the enclosure. In order to prevent
alignment problems between the SSW enable switch and the latch, install and tighten
the screw on the upper right hand side of the module first.
9. Enable the module by turning the locking latch clockwise until the arrow points towards
module.
10. Restart the UPS. Verify there are no alarms relating to the static switch following replacement. Return the UPS from external bypass.

This is how you would replace a SSW.... But why are you replacing it? If its faulty you probably won't be able or shouldn't attempt to transfer to static bypass. This part is hot swap-able and I'd attempt it online if the SSW is reporting faulty.
If you are just replacing it as a scheduled upgrade then your procedure looks fine.
