I have 3 servers, and 6 VMs (Hyper-V), want to install PowerChute network V4.2. so should I install it in each server and VM or what? is it like server/client or server/agent?, please need help.

Hi,
You should install PCNS on each of the Hyper-V hosts and the host will be responsible for powering down the VMs. See the PCNS Hyper-V User's Guide.
